Al Byrd, a man from Carroll County, Georgia is the very unlucky owner of the house that was mistakenly demolished by Marietta Demolition Company. When he was on the phone with someone from the demolition company, he was told that they were sent "some GPS coordinates" and the "GPS coordinates led me right to this address here and this house was described."

Is technology to blame here? Probably not. Marietta Demolition Company could have at least called the owner of the house before doing the "job". No one was inside the house when it was being demolished, but priceless family heirloom were destroyed.
