ESPN Sports blogger and reporter Erin Andrews is a celebrity victim of invasion of privacy a while back. Erin Andrews was in her hotel without anything on and was videotaped through a sneaky peephole.

To make things worse for her, the peephole video was uploaded to the internet, but was almost immediately taken down after a lawyer of ESPN demanded so. The website owner complied, but then search engine cache made the video still available even after Erin Andrews' Peephole Video was already taken down.

The person who was responsible for videotaping and posting of the video online is Michael David Barrett. He was arrested and plead guilty to the crime. Barrett was sentenced to two and a half years behind bars and three years of probation, along with a $5,000 fine and a $7,366 restitution.

Al Byrd, a man from Carroll County, Georgia is the very unlucky owner of the house that was mistakenly demolished by Marietta Demolition Company. When he was on the phone with someone from the demolition company, he was told that they were sent "some GPS coordinates" and the "GPS coordinates led me right to this address here and this house was described."

Is technology to blame here? Probably not. Marietta Demolition Company could have at least called the owner of the house before doing the "job". No one was inside the house when it was being demolished, but priceless family heirloom were destroyed.

How To Fix iTunes Error 1013 During Update or Restore

While you are updating or restoring your iPhone using iTunes, you might encounter the iTunes Error 1013. Do not be alarmed though as there is a quick fix for this slight problem. Follow the instructions below for either Windows PC or MAC OS X.

iTunes Error 1013 Windows PC Fix - you have to delete a particular text inside a file. To do so, look for the file called "hosts" - it is located in C:\Windows\Sytem32\drivers\etc. Now, you have to open it using Notepad. Fire up Notepad, click on "file", then "open", and look for the "hosts" file in the directory above, alternatively, you can open up My Computer and browse to that directory and drag the "hosts" file onto the Notepad application. Once you have opened "hosts", delete the text: "gs.apple.com", save the file and close it - now you'll be able to properly update or restore your device.

iTunes Error 1013 Apple MAC OS X Fix - go to the Applications folder, then to the Utilities folder. Fire up "Terminal" and type in: "sudo nano /etc/hosts" without the quotes then hit return. You may have to enter your password. Find "gs.apple.com" and type a hash tag before that entry. Save the file and exit Nano editor. Now you should update or restore without problems.

Just after under a month when Apple released iOS 5 to the public, the fruit company released a follow up with a promised fix to the battery drain problem plaguing (almost) all compatible iOS 5 gadgets. Apple themselves admitted to the iOS 5 flaw or bug that unreasonably drained an iDevice's battery - and was quick enough to address the issue.

If you're wondering How To Download iOS 5.0.1, you can do so over-the-air on your iPhone or iPod Touch or iPad directly (it's a new feature found only on iOS 5!). Another option is to connect your iDevice on a Windows PC or Mac and run iTunes then just follow the instructions. If those above update options don't work, you should probably just download the iOS 5.0.1 restore.ipsw files directly from Apple's servers. See the download links below. To install what you have just downloaded, fire up iTunes, click on the "Restore" button while simultaneously pressing and holding the "Shift" (PC) or "Option" (Mac) key.

iPhone 4S Has No Antennagate or Death Grip Issues - Consumer Reports

According to American magazine Consumer Reports, the new iPhone 4S does not suffer any antenna-related issues its predecessor has. The iPhone 4S is now recommended by Consumer Reports because Apple has fixed the Antennagate / Death Grip problem in their new iPhone release.

If you remember a while back, just after less than a week of the iPhone 4's release, there have been numerous reports all over the web that holding the black band located on the lower-left side of the iPhone 4 results to losing signal bars and even dropping calls (when you're in an area with weak coverage). Experts say that the hand or finger or whatever conductive material that touches that particular black band actually bridges and links the iPhone 4's two separate radios (since the iPhone 4's steel frame also serves as its antenna), therefore attenuating the network's signal strength. Apple even created the "Bumper Case Program" and gave away free cases for a while to answer this issue.

As for the iPhone 4S, it's already been out for quite a while already and nobody seems to be complaining about anything related to the network signal, couple this fact with the latest recommendation by Consumer Reports on the iPhone 4S, you won't be regretting your purchase.

Consumer Reports says:

"Apple's newest smart phone performed very well in our tests, and while it closely resembles the iPhone 4 in appearance, it doesn't suffer the reception problem we found in its predecessor in special tests in our labs. In special reception tests of the iPhone 4S that duplicated those we did on the iPhone 4, the newer phone did not display the same reception flaw, which involves a loss of signal strength when you touch a spot on the phone's lower left side while you're in an area with a weak signal. (The iPhone 4, which is still available, continues to exhibit that problem, we confirmed in tests of new samples of the phone. Because of the flaw, we continue to omit the iPhone 4 from our list of recommended models, despite its otherwise fine performance.)"

Too bad for the iPhone 4 though, but it's not actually an issue for most, really.

The G8 is a forum that France created back in 1975 for the governments of the major economies around the globe. French President Nicolas Sarkozy is also the incumbent President of the 2011 G8.

Rockstar Games / Rockstar North has just released an eighty five-second trailer for their much anticipated upcoming open-world, action-adventure game, Grand Theft Auto V (GTA5).

The location for the next installment of the GTA series will be Los Santos (a fictional version of Los Angeles), "Vinewood" (Hollywood) was even shown in the trailer. This is also the same fictional state featured in GTA: San Andreas.

There is no mention of release dates or hardware requirements, all that was released relating to GTA V was the trailer. From the video, the game looks like it may require decent hardware specs to run smoothly. Looks like we're in for a treat.

Wii Sports - The Best Selling Video Game of All Time?

Is Wii Sports indeed the most successful game that has been created in the history of video gaming industry?

Stats have been all over the internet that Wii Sports (sold over 40.24 million copies) has already dethroned Super Mario Bros. as the best selling video game ever, but is it a fair fight?

"The bundling of Wii Sports with the Wii console is integral to the success of the Wii console - Wii Sports adds value to the package and isn't "given away" with the console. It is purchased alongside the console."*

The quoted text sure says a lot. I personally think that without "bundling" Wii Sports with the Nintendo Wii, it wouldn't have sold as much - it's just common sense.

I wonder how the Super Mario Bros. games would fare against Wii Sports had they been bundled with the NES decades ago.
